We are proud to provide cosmetic dentistry services that make a profound impact on patients’ quality of life.  Our cosmetic dentistry solutions beautify smiles, ultimately bringing out the best in personal aesthetics.  If you would like your smile enhanced, dial (813) 879-6370 to schedule an appointment at our dental practice.  Our cosmetic dentistry treatments and procedures include dental bonding, inlays, onlays, teeth whitening, veneers, composite fillings, dental implants and plenty more.

Some patients benefit from a combination of cosmetic dental treatments and procedures that constitute an overarching smile makeover.  These makeovers are comprised of a multitude of cosmetic treatments that beautify the teeth and gums for a symmetrical, beautiful and impactful smile.  Our cosmetic dentistry solutions include dental implants that replace damaged or lost teeth.  However, you might simply need indirect fillings known as inlays and onlays.  If your tooth has decay or lacks the structure required for a filling, an onlay will be used on the surface.  If there is considerable damage, an onlay will be applied to the full surface of the tooth.

Teeth whitening is also one of our most popular cosmetic dentistry solutions as it beautifies teeth by several shades of white.  If your teeth are yellow in hue, stained or otherwise visually flawed, have them whitened at our office and you will be ecstatic with your newly-whitened smile.

Invisalign®

invisalign (2).png

Invisalign straightens wayward teeth with the use of clear aligners.  These soft, comfy and completely transparent aligners slowly but surely move the teeth into the right positions in the mouth.  You can remove your aligners to eat or clean your teeth in mere seconds.  It typically takes Invisalign about a year to move teeth into the right positions, which is less time than would be necessary with comparably unsightly braces.

Even if your teeth are slightly crooked or have minor spacing issues, you can benefit from Invisalign aligners.  Invisalign is favored as it is transparent while braces are made of ugly metal.  The clear aligners used in the Invisalign system change throughout each stage of progression.  Adhere to the aligner schedule and instructions as provided by our dentist, Dr. Susan D King, and you will find your teeth straighten in a year’s time or even less without anyone knowing as your clear aligners cannot be seen by onlookers.  You simply cannot find a more convenient and aesthetically pleasing teeth straightening solution.

Teeth Whitening

(Take-Home Systems only)

Teeth whitening can be performed in our office or with a take-home system.  If you would like to whiten your teeth at home, you can do so with one of our convenient take-home teeth whitening systems.  Dial (813) 879-6370 to find out more about our teeth whitening take-home systems and schedule an appointment at our office.  Give our take-home teeth whitening system a try and you will agree it really does work significantly better than those available at local stores.

At-home teeth whitening trays are made with an impression of your unique mouth.  These impressions are used by dental laboratory technicians to create trays that are perfect for your unique oral dimensions.  Be patient as this tray is made and it won’t be long until you are whitening your teeth on your own at home.  Your personalized teeth whitening system will eliminate staining and yellowing caused by the coloring agents used in food, the aging process, smoking, drinking coffee, etc.  If properly maintained, your teeth whitening tray will last several years.

Such custom tailored systems are superior to whitening kits sold in local stores as they prevent the whitening solution from reaching the soft tissues within your mouth.  If you were to use a generic tray in a whitening kit sold by a store, there is a chance the whitening solution would leak out and reach your gums, tongue and cheeks.  Follow our dentist’s instructions pertaining to the use of the at-home teeth whitening system and you will find a couple weeks of use helps your teeth reach the desired shade of white.

Veneers

Dental veneers are ideal for patients who would like to conceal their damaged teeth.  If your teeth are chipped, stained or damaged in another way, contact us today at (813) 879-6370 to schedule an appointment.  We will perform a dental examination, clean your teeth and determine if you are a candidate for dental veneers.  Aside from discoloration and staining, veneers are also helpful for beautifying teeth with small gaps between them and those that have become slightly crooked.

Dental veneers are available in all sorts of different materials, each of which has its own unique merits.  Porcelain veneers are particularly popular as they are easy on the eyes, tough and look like real teeth.  The fabrication of porcelain veneers typically takes place in dental labs to ensure the veneer is just the right fit for the patient’s tooth.  The dentist will prepare the tooth for the veneer by removing the damaged dental tissue and cleaning the tooth.  The front surface is prepped with the removal of a small amount of enamel.  The veneers made in the lab are then added with the use of dental cement so they harden in place.  A curing light hardens the dental cement, the veneer is polished and the veneer remains firmly in position.
